A Comprehensive List of My Photographed Fungi

Updated: Sep 18, 2023

PHEW!

I've been a busy bee reorganizing my entire gallery (almost 10,000 fungi photos!)... I've been practicing my craft for almost 10 years now (wow!) and I really needed a fresh perspective on everything I have in my stockpile. I reviewed all of my albums by species (3 pages of them!) and have created a comprehensive list of each of the species of fungi I am fairly sure I have photographed.

I know there are at least a few dozen more that I could add to this list, but I've not included any mushrooms that I've been unable to identify with some certainty.

One may ask: How accurate are your identifications? Generally, if I’ve noted an ID that means I feel pretty confident—but I am still learning, just as the science of mycology is still evolving! I am not at all immune to mistakes and I welcome any corrections and new information. Please don't hesitate to teach me something new (but please be kind)!

Below, I've included a comprehensive alphabetized list of each fungus using common names, followed by their Latin names noted in parenthesis. If a mushroom did not have a common name, I only listed the Latin name.
