Franklin Frog: A Visitor Summering in our Balcony Garden

Updated: Sep 15

When we first discovered this sweet little "Pacific Chorus Frog" (Pseudacris regilla) in our balcony garden, of course, a photoshoot ensued!

As it turns out, he's decided stayed for the summer and has made a home in our balcony garden's raised flower bed!

We've quite fondly named him "Franklin Frog."

We see him most days, particularly at dusk when it's time to wake up with the sunset and hunt for the night!

He has made at least one friend; a smaller specimen, but of the same species, whom we have fondly named "Francesca Frog".

We hope he will stay for years to come!
